Honda seems all set for the festive season, having rolled out various offers for its products. Moreover, the Japanese brand has updated its products for 2018 with a variety of new features and colours. Before you book your Honda two-wheeler, here’s our take on the colours that the following Honda products look the most appealing in.

Honda Activa 5G:

The Activa range single-handedly leads the scooter segment in the country with consistent sales over the years. Its conservative design has remained an all-time customer favourite. However, for 2018, Honda subtly updated the most popular Activa, the Activa 5G with an LED headlamp. There’s also a new 4-in-1 lock with seat opening switch, an analogue console with digital inset (DLX variant only), and an apron hook.

Honda offers eight different colour schemes for the Activa - Dazzle Yellow Metallic, Majestic Brown Metallic, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Black, Matte Selene Silver Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, Pearl Spartan Red and Trance Blue Metallic.

Our Choice:

Among these, the Dazzle Yellow Metallic stands out and complements the LED headlight as well. The gold-ish hue is sure to appeal to a lot of customers as it enhances the premium quotient of the scooter. Another great choice is the Matte Selene Silver Metallic, which gives an elegant touch to the scooter. The base variant will set you back by Rs 53,565 while the top-end DLX version costs Rs 55,430.

Honda Dio:

The Honda Dio is arguably one of the sportiest looking scooters in its segment in the Indian market. Honda upped its game for 2018 with an apron-mounted LED headlight flanked by indicators on both sides. There’s an LED DRL on the handlebar cowl as well, topping off the aggressive front-end design. The Deluxe variant features fully-digital instrumentation too.

There are five colours available in the Standard variant and four in the deluxe variant. The latter comes with signature gold rim paint, with standout colours too.

Our Choice:

The Sports Yellow Metallic on the standard variant as it goes well with the scooter’s sporty design, whereas the Deluxe variant looks best in Pearl Igneous Black. The standard variant costs Rs 51,837, while the DLX variant commands Rs 2,000 more.

Honda Grazia:

With the Grazia, Honda targets the youth who are in the market for a trendy 125cc scooter. It was also the first scooter in the segment to feature an LED headlight. In addition to the looks, the scooter is quite practical too, thanks to the inclusion of apron-mounted storage with optional charging port.

Our Choice:

Out of the six colours that Honda offers for the Grazia, Pearl Amazing White would be our recommendation. It strikes the perfect balance between elegance and sportiness and really makes the blacked-out design elements in the scooter stand out. Prices start from Rs 59,622 for the variant with drum brakes and steel wheels. The drum brake, alloy wheels version is priced at Rs 61,552, while the top-end front disc brake model carries a price tag of Rs 63,994.

Honda XBlade:

Those who found the Hornet a bit too expensive and the Unicorn a bit too drab, the XBlade is the apt choice. Its robot-inspired design looks quite futuristic and unlike any other motorcycle in its segment. The sharp headlamp design matches the aggressive tank profile, while the rear is rounded off by a sharp LED tail lamp flanked by split grab bars. The bike comes in quite a few sporty looking colours like red, silver, metallic green, metallic blue and black.

Our Choice:

We feel the Matte Frozen Silver is the best colour one could go for. The colour does wonders in highlighting the sporty design of the motorcycle. For a more ‘tactical’ look, the Matte Marshal Green Metallic colour variant perfectly fits the bill. The XBlade is priced at Rs 79,468.

Honda CBR250R:

Honda re-launched the CBR250R after putting the production on hold during the transition from BSIII to BSIV emission compliance. However, the new motorcycle only gets an LED headlamp apart from the all-new colour schemes. Make no mistake, the motorcycle is still one of the best in its segment, with bulletproof build quality and impressive touring capabilities. Honda offers the bike in Matte Axis Grey Metallic with Mars Orange or Striking Green, Pearl Sports Yellow and Sports Red.

Our Choice:

While we loved the metallic red and black colour variants in the previous-gen motorcycle, they have been discontinued. Among the new colour range, the Matte Axis Grey Metallic with Striking Green suits the motorcycle the best, we feel. The green highlights with the contrasting black make the bike look menacing. This motorcycle commands a bit of a premium compared to its rivals, starting at Rs 1,64,552. The dual-channel ABS variant commands a price tag of Rs 1,94,075.
