Dubai’s Burj Khalifa Lights Up in Support of Sadhguru’s Save Soil Movement

Sadhguru expressed his gratitude to the UAE Government and praised the UAE Government's vision to revive the soil.

New Delhi: Dubai's famous Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest skyscraper, was lit up in support of Indian yoga guru Sadhguru's Save the Soil movement on Tuesday. Sadhguru's save-soil message was showcased in a 2-minute light and laser show. Sadhguru virtually attended the event and addressed the gathering to celebrate the conclusion of his 100-day Save-Soil journey. During his 3-month journey, he has contacted 3.9 billion people and 74 countries have agreed to actively work to revive the soil. Sadhguru expressed his gratitude to the UAE Government and praised the UAE Government's vision to revive the soil.

"Burj Khalifa, iconic fulcrum of UAE lighting up to #SaveSoil is a symbolic expression of commitment of the visionary leadership. The wonderful people & the sensitive leadership can make UAE an ecological leader in the region. Congratulations & Blessings to everyone of you," he wrote on his Twitter handle.

Thanking the people for their support, Sadhguru said the "work has just begun" and added that the real challenge is the speed at which the policies will be implemented. He said that the campaign has been successful in changing the mindset as "today literally across the world, people are talking about soil, governments are discussing about soil regeneration programs, budgets are being allocated." He emphasised that till we ensure that the policies are in place, 'the mission is not over'.

To honor this colossal achievement, 1Digi Investment Management, the family office of Actyv.ai Founder and Global CEO Raghu Subramanian, sponsored a light show at Burj Khalifa. Raghu said that Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) is at the core of our business and actyv.ai is proud to be associated with the Save Soil Movement led by Sadhguru and Isha Foundation.

UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment H.E. Maryam bint Mohammed Almheiri has appreciated Sadhguru's campaign. He said "Our collaboration with Conscious Planet is a new step in our ongoing efforts to safeguard our precious soil for the next generations."
