PM Modi To Launch ‘Ganga Vilas’ Today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the world's longest river cruise, 'Ganga Vilas,' from Varanasi to Dibrugarh via Bangladesh today. The cruise ship will travel 3200 kilometres in 50 days, going through 27 river systems in India and Bangladesh, and will allow travellers to see over 50 architecturally significant areas, including world heritage sites.
According to the official website, Ganga Vilas can accommodate 80 passengers. The vessel is a magnificent river cruiser with 18 staterooms and all the facilities you could want.
