PM Modi To Launch CBI's Diamond Jubilee Celebrations Today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will kick off the Central Bureau of Investigation's (CBI) diamond jubilee festivities on April 3, according to his office, news agency PTI reported.

During the occasion, he will give medals to winners of the President's Police Medal for Outstanding Service and the Gold Medal for Best Investigative Officers of the CBI, according to a statement published by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).

The CBI's diamond jubilee festivities will be launched by Prime Minister Modi on April 3 at 12 noon at Vigyan Bhawan, according to the announcement.

He will also dedicate the CBI's newly built office complexes in Shillong, Pune, and Nagpur, PTI reported.

He will issue a postage stamp and a commemorative coin to commemorate the CBI's diamond jubilee year. The prime minister will also establish the agency's Twitter account.

Bhutan King Wangchuk To Begin 3-Day India Visit Today To Boost Economic Ties

Bhutan's King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck will embark on a three-day trip to India on Monday. This will be aimed at strengthening the close bilateral relations, particularly in the areas of economic and development cooperation.

During his visit, Wangchuck will hold discussions with President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Accompanying him will be Tandi Dorji, Bhutan's Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade, along with senior officials from the Royal government of Bhutan.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) declared the visit and stated that it was at the invitation of President Droupadi Murmu that King Wangchuck would make an official trip to India from April 3 to 5.

Andhra SSC Exams Begins Today

More than 6 lakh students are expected to take the Andhra Pradesh SSC board exams from April 3 to 18. The exams will be administered in seven regional languages including Telugu, English, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, Urdu, and Odia. Of the total number of candidates, 310,000 are boys and 297,000 are girls.

The districts with the highest number of candidates are Anantapuram, Kurnool, and Prakasam, while the districts with the lowest numbers are Parvatipuram Manyam, Alluri Sitaramaraju, and Bapatla.

The exams will be held in 3,349 centres throughout the state, and there will be 156 flying squads and 682 sitting squads to monitor for malpractice. Additionally, 104 examination centres will be equipped with CCTV cameras.
