Mystery Boom-Like Sound Heard In Bengaluru, IAF Denies Any Activity
There was a similar boom sonic-like sound in 2020 when IAF gave the clarification
Bengaluru: A loud boom-like sound was heard in many parts of South Bengaluru on Friday at 12.15 PM. Minutes after the sound was heard Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) clarified that there was nothing of something different from regular sorties and trainee aircraft take place.
"Regular sorties of fighters and trainee aircraft take place from HAL airport. Today was no different. HAL can't comment on the loud sound reportedly heard today in Bengaluru," said Gopal Sutar, Spokesperson, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).

The aircraft was of Aircraft Systems and Testing Establishment (ASTE)."

After this sound on Friday, netizens took this issue to social media and have speculated the same sonic boom which occurred last year.
