Bajaj launches rider communities for Pulsar and Avenger owners
New Delhi: Bajaj Auto has launched the Pulsar Maniacs and The Avenger Gods (TAG) rider communities in India, today, to mark the World Motorcycle Day celebrations. Pulsar Maniacs is for the fans and owners of the Bajaj Pulsar RS200, while the TAG community is for the owners of the Avenger range of motorcycles.
The Royal Enfield pioneered to start the first official riding group and organized rides all over India. Bajaj Auto is the latest in forming their own official riding community. Independent riding groups and communities are otherwise formed in India by motorcycle enthusiasts on their own but due to safety concerns, many riders do not participate in the rides organized by these independent communities.
Hence, Bajaj Auto has formed these two communities, where rides will take place in a safe, organized and professional manner. Sumeet Narang, VP Marketing, Bajaj Auto said, “The group riding phenomena is taking off enormously, however, a large section of customers stay away from it because of safety considerations. As the market leader in the sports segment, we are committed to keep abreast of customer trends. We have now put in place the entire required infrastructure to enable Pulsar RS 200 and Avenger customers to experience the fun of group riding in a safe and professional way”.
The rides will be professionally organized by Bajaj Auto, which will be supervised by Bajaj Auto’s expert riders, along with proper safety gear and emergency service and support. These rides may range from short distance rides to long distance ones, scheduled on a weekly basis, meant also to create awareness on safe riding practices and the use of safety gears, etc.
Besides these rides, there will also be FLG (Feel Like God) rides, where riders will go on long distance rides in some of the most interesting locations in India. The first FLG will be kicked off by Bajaj Auto on June 23, in which 15 owners of the Bajaj Avenger will ride from Chandigarh to Tirthan valley and return.
These professionally supervised group rides for Pulsar RS 200 and Avenger owners will be kick-started in 7 metros, namely, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad and Kolkata. Registration is free for willing Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 and Bajaj Avenger owners on the official website of Bajaj Auto.
