'Baba Ka Dhaba' Starts Afresh! 80-Year-Old Owner Opens New Restaurant In Delhi; Know Location, Services & More

As per the reports, the new restaurant, also named as 'Baba Ka Dhaba' has opened in Malviya Nagar, and will start functioning from Wednesday.

‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ owner Kanta Prasad who shot to fame on social media after his viral video, has now started a new restaurant in Delhi's Malviya Nagar, the area where his roadside food stall was located. The 80-year-old owner of the small eatery has opened the new restaurant at a rented accommodation and named it as ‘Baba ka Dhaba’ only. We will serve Indian and Chinese cuisines and have hired two chefs for the same. I will keep running my old eatery also," Prasad said, as quoted by news agency PTI. Details Of New 'Baba Ka Dhaba' Restaurant As per the reports, the new restaurant, also named as 'Baba Ka Dhaba' has opened in Malviya Nagar, and will start functioning from Wednesday. The eatery opened at a rented accommodation, will have both dine-in and take away options. Tushant Adlakha, a social worker who also works with Prasad, reportedly said that the owner has hired two chefs and the rest of their family members are helping to run the restaurant. Viral Video Of 80-Yr-Old Couple Struggling To Earn A Living Prasad had shot to fame after a heart-breaking video of him went viral showing the couple struggling to make their both ends meet during the Coronavirus induced Pandemic. The video was shot by blogger Gaurav Vasan, in which the elderly man Kanta Prasad said that he and his wife Badami Devi start work by 6:30 am. When asked how much do they earn, he broke down as he produced notes of Rs 10 from a box. He had managed to earn Rs 50 in four hours. The couple served home-cooked meals like chapattis, rice, matar- paneer and a wide variety of Indian curries. Several noted celebrities and bloggers too shared the video of the 80-year-old couple.
