Andhra CM Jagan Mohan Reddy To Lay Foundation Stone For Bhogapuram Airport, Vizag Tech Park On May 3

The Bhogapuram Airport is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 5,000 crore and will handle 1.8 crore passengers annually, in a huge boost for north coastal Andhra Pradesh region.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will lay the foundation stone for the construction of Bhogapuram Greenfield International Airport in Vizianagaram district on May 3. He will also lay the foundation stone for surplus works of the Tarakarama Teerthasagar Irrigation Project and the construction of the Chitapalle fish landing centre.

The CM will also lay the foundation stone for the Adani Data Centre at Vizag Tech Park in Visakhapatnam. 

The Bhogapuram Greenfield Airport is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 5,000 crore. The airport is expected to handle 1.8 crore passengers annually. The airport will be constructed in three phases.

CM Jagan Mohan Reddy's Schedule On May 3

CM Jagan Mohan Reddy will leave from his Tadepalli camp office in a chopper at 8 am on Wednesday and reach the helipad built near Ravivalasa village in Bhogapuram mandal by 10 am. He will reach the GMR Experience Centre at 10.25 am and lay the foundation stone for the greenfield airport at 10.30 am.

The CM will lay the foundation stones for the construction of the Chintapalli fish landing centre (in Pusapatirega mandal) ) and surplus works of the Tarakarama Thirtha Sagaram project. He will then move to Savaravilli, where he will address a public meeting at 10.55 am. He will leave for Visakhapatnam at 1.20 pm.

At 1.40 pm, CM Reddy will land at the helipad at IT Hills No 3, Visakha Maduravada. He will reach the IT park located on Hill No. 4 at Rushikonda by road. Between 2.30 pm. and 3 pm, he will participate in the foundation stone-laying ceremony of the Vizag IT Tech Park. The CM will also address industrialists.

He will visit Visakha MP MVV Satyanarayana's residence in Rushikonda at around 3.50 pm to bless his recently married son and bride. At 5 pm, he will depart from the Madhurawada helipad and reach the Visakhapatnam airport at 5.20 pm. He will return to his Tadepalli residence at 6.45 pm on the same day.
