AMAZING! Stray Dog Trapped In With A Leopard Stayed Unharmed For Six Hours Until Forest Department Shows

After being trapped in the washroom for six hours with a leopard twice its size, the stray dog escaped unharmed.

New Delhi: In a strange twist of fate, a stray dog was chased into a washroom of a house in Bilinele village of Dakshina district of Karnataka by a leopard early in the morning. Alerted by the noise the houseowner Jayalakshmi locked the door from outside when she saw the leopard’s tail.

Surprisingly, the predator did not attack the dog who was stuck with it for six hours, until the Forest department officials were informed and they reached the spot after 7 AM. When they looked in through the window, they were amazed both the animals lying on two sides of the washroom. After the leopard escaped, the dog walked out through the door when it was opened.

According to a PTI report, the Forest officers failed to sedate the leopard with the tranquilizer darts they had brought with themselves so that they could trap the leopard. The animal broke through the roof and the nets outside the house and escaped into the nearby forest.

Indian Forest Service officer Parveen Kaswan shared the story along with the photos of the animals in the washroom. He said in one of the tweets in the thread “Every dog has a day. Imagine this dog got stuck in a toilet with a leopard for hours. And got out alive. It happens only in India. Via @prajwalmanipal”

The deputy conservator of Forests (Dakshina Kannada) V Karikalan told PTI that two separate cages had been set for the animal near the house if it chanced to come to the area again.
