Now, the outgoing variant featured a tri-colour combination, refreshed graphics and an emblem signifying it as a special edition bike. The 2018 variant in that sense, is no different. Both the Gixxer SP and Gixxer SF SP get a gold and black paint scheme coupled with the SP emblem, which gives it the touch of exclusivity. Additionally, it gets new graphics on the front cowl and fuel tank, which wasn’t available on the outgoing SP versions.

Moving to the heart of the bike, they continue to be powered by the same 155cc, air-cooled engine that develops 14.8PS of power and 14Nm of torque. They employ a diamond-type frame which is suspended on telescopic forks up front and a monoshock unit at the back. Here’s the bikemaker’s official statement on the launch.
