SHOCKING: 6-yr-old dead as father pushes onion in her throat as punishment

New Delhi: A six-year-old girl girl was choked to death as her father allegedly shoved an onion into her throat in Aurangabad, Bihar. The incident, reportedly, took place on July 9, when the father punished her daughter Bharti, by shoving onion in her throat, as she was not able to count from 1-15 in correct order. The episode came into light, when the mother of the 6-year-old girl on Monday night, gathered the courage and informed police about the murder. The accused Sanjay Kute was detained by the police on Tuesday morning. The family is a resident of Belapur village, on the periphery of Aurangabad city. Bharti was studying in the first standard, in the village-based zilla parishad school, where she got admission earlier this month. According to the reports, Kute decided to oversee the studies of his daughter on Saturday night, when Bharti, who was trying to learn from 1 to 15, was not able to count in correct sequence. She skipped 12 and directly jumped to 13, after which Kute lost his cool and he stuffed an onion into Bharti’s mouth. Bharti was suffocated as the onion went deeper in her mouth, after which she got unconscious. The father took her to Bajaj hospital where she was declared dead by the doctors.
