Ram Navami 2022: Devotees To Now Get Extra Darshan Time Of Ram Lalla In Ayodhya. Check Timings

Due to the construction of the temple of Lord Ram, the estimated number of devotees for the Ram Janmotsav this year has been estimated anywhere from 15 to 20 lakh.

New Delhi: The district administration and the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust have become alert over the rush of devotees expected to attend the Ram Janmotsav. Due to the construction of the temple of Lord Ram, the estimated number of devotees for the Ram Janmotsav this year has been estimated anywhere from 15 to 20 lakh. It is believed that on April 10, 3 days ahead of Ram Navami, Ayodhya will be flooded with devotees.

In such a situation, keeping in mind that the devotees of Lord Ram do not face any inconvenience during darshan, a decision has been taken at a joint meeting of the officers of Shri Ram Janam Bhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and the district administration.

This year the darshan of Ram Lalla will be extended by a period of 3 hours. In the first shift, the darshan of Ramlala use to start at 7:00 a.m. and continued till 11:00 a.m.

After the aarti of Lord Ram was performed at 11:00 am, the temple's doors were closed. At 2:00 pm the aarti of Ram Lalla used to be held again for the common devotees and the doors would open for darshan by 6:00 pm.

Now the darshan of Ram Lalla will start at 6:00 am and will continue till 11:30 am and the second shift will start from 2:00 pm and will continue till 7:30 pm. From April 3 before Ram Navami, the darshan time period of Ram Lalla will be changed which will continue till Ram Navami.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust General Secretary Champat Rai said that devotees go in 2 shifts for darshan in the temple of Ram Lalla.

The priority of the trust is that every devotee coming to Ayodhya gets the darshan of Ram Lalla and no one has to go back, so the darshan period has been extended.
