Marking World Environment Day with a deeply symbolic and emotional gesture, Prime Minister Narendra Modi planted a Sindoor sapling at his official residence, 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, in New Delhi. The sapling holds immense national and emotional significance, having been gifted to him by the courageous mothers and sisters of Kutch, Gujarat — women who showed extraordinary bravery during the 1971 India-Pakistan war.
