McDonald's India Brings Immunity Boosting Drinks, 'Turmeric Latte' & Masala Kadak Chai On The Menu

McDonald's India is going to sell immunity-boosting drinks. These are expected to strike the right balance between taste and health.

The importance of having a strong immunity has increased more than before due to the Corona times. This is considered the first line of defence in our body. For the last one and a half years there have been discussions at length about it all over the world. Doctors are insisting on having better levels of immunity to prevent many viral infections. Therefore, people can be seen including immunity-boosting foods in their diet. But, now restaurants and hotels too have decided to cash in on the opportunity. Many hotels and restaurants have included dishes made from immunity-boosting materials on their menus. On the same lines, the famous fast-food chain McDonald's India has also joined in.

McDonald's India to sell immunity-boosting beverages

McDonald's India is now going to sell turmeric milk and spicy tea as well. It has added 'turmeric latte' and 'masala kadak chai' to its McCafe menu. These two new immunity-boosting beverages will be available at the southern and western run McCafe by McDonald's. The company has claimed that apart from being freshly made beverages, turmeric latte and masala kadak chai are enriched with healthy ingredients like turmeric, pepper, cloves, and ginger. Every ingredient benefits your body.

Turmeric latte, masala kadak chai added to menu

It is known for detoxifying, improving gut health, fighting infections. In addition, these drinks also help fight cough, cold and soothe sore throat. The company said in a statement that turmeric latte is unique in taste. It is also known as turmeric milk which is taken as an age-old Ayurvedic treatment against cold, cough while masala kadak chai is inspired by the sentiments and love of Indian customers.

Explaining the idea of including immunity-enhancing drinks on the menu, Arvind RP, Director-Marketing and Communications, McDonald's India (West & South), said, "The journey to bring innovation on the menu continues and we are excited to introduce a new offer on the McCafe menu, which is designed to make people happy. Many researchers have clarified that customers are actively on a lookout for immunity-enhancing recipes and products. As a brand, we have always been at the forefront of meeting the expectations of our customers. This new offer will give our customers relevant options."
