WATCH: Thousands Of Devotees From Across The World Celebrate Maha Shivratri In Isha Foundation
On Maha Shivratri celebrations at Isha Foundation, Yugarupa, a devotee from Germany, said that it was a fantastic night and it could not have been a better night.
In an event that brought together spiritual fervor and high-profile dignitaries, the Isha Foundation's Maha Shivratri celebrations at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore were marked by the presence of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar and founder Sadhguru. The event also saw the convergence of several prominent figures including Punjab's Governor Banwarilal Purohit and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.
Adding to the event's prominence, Sudhesh Dhankar, the second lady of India, was also present.
Thousands of devotees from various countries also participated in Maha Shivaratri celebrations at Isha Foundation in Coimbatore. Maichu, a devotee from France, said, "It is the first time I am doing Maha Shivaratri and celebrating it in the ashram. I enjoyed the performances..."
Yugarupa, a devotee from Germany, said, "It has been a fantastic night. Couldn't have been a better night. So happy I am here, such a privilege...The artists are fantastic, music is great. Being here with Sadhguru is a blessing."

The event was broadcast live from 6 PM on March 8 to 6 AM on March 9 in 22 languages worldwide on Sadhguru’s YouTube channels.
Earlier, Maha Shivratri celebrations became a part of the iconic Times Square in New York. Sharing a video on his Instagram handle, Sadhguru wrote, "Times Square, New York welcomes Maha Shivratri! The world is realizing the significance of the Great Night of Shiva as a celebration of enhancing human potential and an opportunity for transformation. Let us make it happen."
