Lamborghini Huracan Avio to be launched on September 22

New Delhi: India's best-selling supercar marquee, Lamborghini, is all set to introduce a special edition of the Huracan. Limited to just 250 units worldwide, the 'Avio' brings a unique aviation-inspired theme to the baby Lambo. Lamborghini Huracan Avio to be launched on September 22 The Avio wears a special livery inspired by the 'prestigious history of aeronautical engineering', says Lamborghini. Customers can choose from five new colours, that include three different shades of grey, a matte blue and a matte green. It also gets a super cool set of offset racing stripes, some contrast colouration on the lower half of the bumpers and skirts, and 'L63' - an amalgamation of Lamborghini and their founding year 1963 - stickering on the doors. Lamborghini Huracan Avio to be launched on September 22 Other than the paint schemes and livery, there's nothing 'new' to talk about. There are no added performance parts or anything of that sort here. That said, the Huracan Avio is still heart-achingly striking, thanks to the angry 'I'll bite your head off' face and the signature Lamborghini tail. It looks particularly good in this shade of matte blue too, we think! Lamborghini Huracan Avio to be launched on September 22 The interiors too are carried over as is from the standard Huracan. What makes the Avio unique, is the splattering of 'L63' insignias on the bolsters of the seats and on a special trim plate that proudly says the vehicle is one out of just 250 in the world. Lamborghini Huracan Avio to be launched on September 22 Everything from the sporty bucket seats to the flat-bottom steering looks straight out of a Batman comic - and we aren't complaining one bit! Our favourite element is the bright red jet-fighter like tab on the centre console that houses the switch to bring the motor to life. Lamborghini Huracan Avio to be launched on September 22 Speaking of which, the Huracan Avio will feature the same 5.2-litre, V10 engine that belts out a staggering 610PS of power and 560Nm of peak torque. 0-100kmph is dealt with in just 3.2 seconds, while a nought to 200kmph run will take a smidge under 10 seconds. If that doesn't tingle your gut, we don't know what will! Power will be channeled to all four wheels, while transmission duties are taken care of by a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Lamborghini Huracan Avio to be launched on September 22 The Avio will be the fourth variant of the Huracan to be retailed in India, following the coupe, the roadster and the rear-wheel drive variant. Prices? Well, all we can say is that it will definitely be further north from the Rs 3.5 crore mark that the standard Huracan retails at. Source: cardeko.com
