Cold-cough: The problem of flu, viral and cough and cold is quite common during the winter season. In such a situation, you do not need to panic, you can avoid cold-cough and viral fever by following some home remedies.

Cold in Winter: The severe cold and rain have left people shivering. In this winter, people suffer from diseases like cold-cough, seasonal fever and flu. As soon as the rainy season comes, immunity takes a dip. In such a case, the body is prone to illnesses. Most children and elderly people often fall sick in the rainy season. However, if you practice some precautions in your diet, you can avoid these ailments. Today we are bringing for you some home remedies, following these can protect you from flu, cold and cough. 

Home Remedies for Seasonal Flu

1- Turmeric milk- In this ever-changing season you should drink turmeric milk every day. Since turmeric milk is hot and contains antibiotics, turmeric milk is effective in protecting against any kind of infection. By having turmeric milk, you will get protection from viral and common cold and cough. People are drinking turmeric milk these days, also to protect themselves from the Corona pandemic. To make turmeric milk, mix a quarter of a teaspoon of turmeric in a glass of lukewarm milk and drink it. If you don't like the taste, then add turmeric and boil the milk. This will eliminate the smell of turmeric. 

2- Consume Chyawanprash - (Ayurvedic preparation using herbs) Since it is the rainy season, you must eat Chyawanprash. Ayurveda considers Chyawanprash to be very beneficial. It is a type of medicine that protects you from many types of infections. You can eat a teaspoon of Chyawanprash with milk every night. In mild cold cough, Chyawanprash helps in providing relief.

3- Steam inhalation- As soon as rain arrives, the first thing people suffer from is cough and cold. To prevent this problem, you must practice steam inhalation. Inhaling steam opens blocked nose and also reduces the inflammation of the respiratory tract. You can also take steam with plain water or add some drops of tea tree oil, eucalyptus oil, lemongrass oil, clove oil in the water. A sore throat and tightness in the chest will also be relieved by steam. 

4- Adopt these home remedies if you have a cough or cold- If you have a cough or cold, consume cloves. Grind some cloves and mix it with honey and eat it 2-3 times a day. This will give you a lot of relief in cough. If you have cough and cold you can also drink tea made of basil and ginger. This is extremely beneficial. If you want, you can also add jaggery to this tea instead of sugar.
