Great news! You can soon order burger and pizzas on trains

New Delhi: You love train journeys, but you hate the food you get in trains because the menu does not include your favourite burger and pizza, right? This news will surely make your day better. Passengers traveling in train will soon be able to instantly order pizza and burgers which will be delivered to their respective coaches. The passengers will be able to place their order on the Indian Railways website. Leading food eateries Domino’s, KFC, Burger King, Subway are planning to open stores at various railway stations, very soon. By entering into this new territory, the eateries will cater their services to a huge section as around 23 million passengers travels in Indian Railways per day. For any last minute purchase, there will be vendor boys present on the platforms with instant burgers, pizzas and Indian thalis. According to the reports, these brands are venturing into this segment because there is a rapid increase in passenger traffic. The eatery brands are planning to open their outlets at stations such as Howrah, Agra, Mumbai, Pune, Madurai and Visakhapatnam. This step will surely boost the business of such famous instant food restaurants due to which some restaurants are also modifying their menu cards and strategies to reach to the maximum passengers. The soon to be opened food stores will comprise of both national and international brands.
