Caught on camera: Cop rescues ducklings from storm drain

A police officer rescued 10 baby ducks that fell into a storm sewer. Officer Zach Helbach reached the spot after police department got a call around 9 a.m. last Wednesday. A resident called for help as he heard a mother duck squawking at a sewer, saw the babies were trapped. Officer Helbach was able to reach down. With a plastic container, he fished out the first seven ducklings. For the rest three, Helbach moved over to a manhole down the street, leaned down in, and took out the rest. Mother duck seemed pretty relieved after this rescue operation by the cop who can now be called “ducking liberator”. Watch video: Video courtesy- PoliceActivity/YouTube
