Step Inside 'Gokuldham Society' Featured In 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'
'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' is probably the longest-running sitcom and recently, a vlogger offered a tour of the 'Gokuldham society' and posted a video of the show's set.
New Delhi: 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' has been entertaining the audience and giving us a hearty laugh for over 15 years, with 'Jethalal', 'Popatlal', 'Daya' and others becoming household names. Recently, a vlogger offered a tour of the Gokuldham society and posted a video of the show's set.
Sonya Mehmi, a YouTuber, posted a video in which she and her family visited the sets of 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' to witness the shoot. In the video, she gave fans a peek into the enormous set, which was divided into numerous segments. The 'Gokuldham society' has been skillfully constructed by the creators, down to the character-specific quarters, kitchen, and play area. Additionally, Jethalal's (Dilip Joshi) Gada Electronics is also built on the premises.
She started the video with a mirror selfie along with her daughter and then went on to give a glimpse of the set. In the video, she gives her audience a glimpse of the living room with lovely furniture, a painting and an office desk. Sonya then shows Sonu's room which has a checkboard-like floor, but in red and white, and after that she enters the kitchen featured in the show.
After a while, Sonya shows us the room of 'Babita Ji' and also the famous umbrella of 'Popatlal'. Additionally, she also takes her audience to the famous godown and clubhouse after showing them the room and the famous swing belonging to 'Jethalal'
She also showed other features in the set and clicked pictures. Netizens were delighted to get a glimpse of the sets from their favourite show and took to the comments section to pour in their views. One of them said, "Thank you di aapki wajah se hum ye set dekh paye humara aaj bhi fav show hai tarak mehta ka ulta chasma", while another person said, "Interior room are different from the gokuldham building."
Sony also discussed that the team shoots for long hours and the effort they put in behind the scenes to put on a show. She shared that she had a very different experience while she was herself on the set compared to the experience she gets on television.
