5 Indian Spices That Will Help To Kick Start Your Weight Loss Regime

Instead of starting a high-intensity workout right away, choose a nutritious diet plan to lose extra body fat. Most Indian spices can aid in lowering fat and improving digestion to fasten weight loss.

New Delhi: Fitness and weight loss have made it to the top of our priority list in recent times, but losing weight is not as easy as it seems. There is no shortcut to it and one has to really put effort and manage their diet scientifically so that they can get rid of those extra kilos yet not have any adverse effects on their body.

Instead of starting a high-intensity workout right away, choose a nutritious eating plan to lose extra body fat. There is a long list of herbs that have a positive effect and at the same time pose no risks. Most Indian spices can aid in lowering fat and improving digestion to fasten weight loss. Here are some of them that you can inculcate into your diet.

1. Cinnamon:

The body's metabolism is boosted by dalchini or cinnamon, which also aids in reducing abdominal fat. This can control cravings and also keep blood sugar levels stable. Additionally, it makes you feel fuller for a longer time. You can add it to yoghurt, cottage cheese, and other foods, as well as utilise it in tea and meal preparations.

The best method to use cinnamon is to brew a cup of tea with it. Just put a cinnamon stick in a cup of water and bring it to a boil. After five minutes of simmering, drain the tea, squeeze in some lemon juice, and serve. Cinnamon and lemon together will fasten the weight loss process.

2. Cumin:

One of the most effective strategies to increase your metabolism is to drink cumin water. Two tablespoons of cumin seeds should be soaked in water overnight and then boiled the next day. Squeeze in a half-cut lemon after filtering the mixture to remove the seeds. For two weeks, drink it every morning on an empty stomach to lose weight quickly.

3. Fenugreek:

Overeating is one of the main reasons people gain weight, and fenugreek helps to control it by regulating appetite. It has been demonstrated that fenugreek increases fullness and decreases hunger sensations. Additionally, fenugreek seed extract has been connected to lower fat consumption, which lowers total calorie intake. In addition to these, fenugreek may aid in the prevention of lifestyle illnesses like excessive cholesterol, hypertension, and diabetes.

4. Cardamom:

Cardamom is rich in vitamins and minerals. They provide the best nutrition possible with fewer calories, greater energy, and no cholesterol. It is also a good source of vitamins A and C, potassium, calcium, sodium, copper, magnesium, iron, manganese, phosphorus, and zinc. Cardamom seeds should be ground up and added to low-fat milk, tea, and other beverages.

You may also boil cardamom seeds with other spices like cinnamon, cloves, and others in the water, then add milk and tea to make cardamom tea for losing weight. The peels and seeds of cardamom pods can also be soaked in water overnight after being crushed. To have maximum benefits, have your cardamom water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

5. Red Chillies:

You can truly benefit from the red chilli powder that you use to season the food.  The long-lasting appetite suppression provided by chillies helps you consume less fat and calories at subsequent meals. It is all because of capsaicin, the chemical that gives these peppers their spiciness. Additionally, it causes fat cells to contract and speeds up metabolism.
