With this, the positivity rate in the capital now stands at 4.62 per cent.

Currently, 124 COVID-19 positive patients are hospitalised in Delhi, while number of COVID patients being treated in home isolation is at 3,636, health department data showed.

It was the seventh consecutive day that the capital recorded over 1,000 new cases in a day. The total number of recoveries has reached 18,48,526.

Overall COVID-19 tally in the national capital rose to 18,79,948 and the death toll was 26,172, the health bulletin stated.

He attributed the low hospitalisation rate to vaccinations and naturally acquired immunity.
