Coronavirus: 78K New Cases Take India's Tally Past 68 Lakh; PM Modi Urges People To Follow Covid Appropriate Behaviour
Coronavirus In India: The rising cases of Covid-19 remain a matter of high concern in view of the upcoming festivals, winter season and opening up of the economy.
Coronavirus In India: India on Thursday witnessed a fresh spike of over 78,000 cases in last 24 hours pushing the overall tally of the country well beyond the 68-lakh-mark. After a brief respite on Tuesday, the daily caseload has again surged.

Amid the mounting caseload, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged people to follow Covid appropriate behaviour. He emphasised on people driven fight against the Coronavirus and hailed the role played by the Covid warriors in saving lives. "Let us Unite to fight Corona! Let us always remember: Wear a mask, wash hands, follow social distancing, practice Do Gaj Ki Doori'. Together, we will succeed and together, we will win against COVID-19," he once again emphasised. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting had on Wednesday said the prime minister will launch a 'jan andolan' campaign. The rising cases of Covid-19 remain a matter of high concern in view of the upcoming festivals, winter season and opening up of the economy. Covid-19 situation in India: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Thursday said that with a fresh spike of 78,524 coronavirus cases and 971 deaths in 24 hours, India's tally went past the 68-lakh-mark with a total of 68,35,655 cases. Out of these, 9,02,425 are currently active; 58,27,704 have been discharged, while 1,05,526 have lost the battle against the pandemic. The recovery rate stands at 85.02 per cent and the fatality rate at 1.55 per cent, the data from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said.Check out below Health Tools-
