Angry Birds On YouTube? YouTube Premium Users Will Now Be Able To Play Games: How To Access
YouTube Playables offer a total of 37 games so far.
YouTube is enhancing its Premium service to cater to the entertainment needs of its paid subscribers and attract a wider audience. In addition to the introduction of ad-free streaming, the platform, owned by Google, has unveiled a new feature called YouTube Playables, integrating gaming into the video streaming experience. The Playables feature was initially introduced on YouTube by Google in September and has undergone an experimental phase. Now, it is available to YouTube Premium users, offering them a selection of 37 online games playable directly on the mobile or desktop app.
This feature eliminates the need for additional downloads or installations, providing a seamless gaming experience within the YouTube platform.
YouTube is actively notifying its Premium users about the Playables feature, with reports from Droid Life confirming that many subscribers received notifications last week. Once users opt in, they gain access to a collection of minigames, including popular titles like Angry Birds Showdown, Brain Out, Daily Solitaire, The Daily Crossword, and various arcade games.

However, the availability of these games is time-limited, as indicated by a notification from YouTube Premium. Users can enjoy the games until March 28th, 2024. During this period, Premium members can access the entire collection under the Playables section within the Explore tab.
The rollout of YouTube Playables has already commenced, with many users already having access. For YouTube Premium subscribers, accessing Playables is a straightforward process.
To access the new games section, including YouTube Playables, users need to update their YouTube app and navigate to the "Playables" section within the Explore tab. While some users have already received the update, it may take a few more weeks for the feature to roll out to all users. YouTube Playables is compatible with both Android and iOS mobile apps.
