Viduthalai Part 2, starring Vijay Sethupathi, Soori, Manju Warrier, and Bhavani Sre, premiered in theatres on December 20. Directed by filmmaker Vetrimaaran, the movie is a sequel to Viduthalai released last year. The movie continues with the intense narrative of a rookie cop tasked with capturing a revolutionary leader. 

The film also stars Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajiv Menon, Ilavarasu, Balaji Sakthivel, Saravana Subbiah and Chetan as a continuation of their part from the first part. The second part includes new additions Manju Warrier, Kishore, Anurag Kashyap, Bose Venkat, Vincent Asokan, Ken Karunas and Surya Vijay Sethupathi.

The film is based on B Jeyamohan’s Thunaivan and Thangam’s Vengaichami blending intense storytelling with socially resonant themes.
