Ukraine soldiers Dance To RRR’s Oscar-Winning Song 'Naatu Naatu' - Watch Viral Video

In a viral video, some Ukrainian soldiers are seen acting out the music video of 'Naatu Naatu'.

New Delhi: Several videos that are constantly shared on social media are clear proof that RRR's Oscar-winning song ‘Naatu Naatu’ has become a worldwide craze. On Twitter, a video that looks quite similar is gaining traction. Some Ukrainian soldiers are seen acting out the music video. However, they put their own spin on it. Notably, the video for the song was shot in Ukraine, just outside the presidential palace of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The video features two soldiers performing with the same panache as Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, and it has attracted attention from across the globe.

Around three days ago, the video was posted on Twitter. The caption reads as follows: "The soldiers from Mykolaiv shot a parody of the song #NaatuNaatu from (India) of the movie "RRR," the original soundtrack of which received an Oscar this year. In the original scene, the main characters express their protest against the British officer (colonizer) for not allowing them to meet with a song” (translated in English)

The official 'RRR' Twitter account shared the clip and expressed gratitude with a folded hand emoji.

Director SS Rajamouli of RRR has lately revealed that they filmed the song just before the war between Russia and Ukraine. This video was shot in Ukraine in August 2021, months before the Russian invasion in February 2022.

The first Indian film song to win an Oscar for Best Original Song was RRR's Naatu Naatu in March 2023. In attendance to accept the Oscar was the lyricist Chandrabose and composer MM Keeravaani. SS Rajamouli, Ram, and Jr. NTR, the movie's stars, were in the crowd to support it.

Based on the lives of two heroes and well-known revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, 'RRR' is a fictional story that takes place in the pre-independence era of the 1920s. Jr. NTR was portrayed as Bheem, and Ram Charan played Ram. The film also starred Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in key roles.
