The actress' bodyguards were reportedly not in the car at the time of the accident. Aishwarya was also not present in the car.

Amid reports of Aishwarya Rai's car accident, her manager confirmed with ABP News, stating that no one was in the car and everything is fine.

A paparazzi page clarified that while a lot of ruckus was create don the road after the accident, no 'serious damage' was reported. The car left the spot and took off after the bodyguards had a discussion regarding the issue. 

However, there have also been reports about no accident. A police officer from Juhu said that the bus driver was honking so her driver got off from the car to ask him about it, an HT report said.

Reacting to the incident, several netizens expressed shock and concern for the actor's safety. Several fans were worried about Aishwarya's health. “Oh my god, hope she is doing okay," said a fan. “Hope Aishwarya is safe.” “Thank god no damage to the car can be seen. The historical epic film was directed by Mani Ratnam and was two released in two parts. Aishwarya was also seen in PS 1, for which again she received quite some appreciation. 

Only last week, Aishwarya remembered her late father, Krishnaraj Rai, through an Instagram post on his 8th death anniversary.
