New Delhi: Shilpa Shetty is a frequent user of social media. She often updates her social media accounts with pictures and videos of her adventures, workouts, meals, and more. However, it seems that she has grown tired of using social media at this point. Shilpa left her admirers in disbelief earlier today when she revealed she would be taking some time off social media.

She announced on Twitter and Instagram today that she would be taking a social media hiatus until she finds a new "avatar." The actress wrote, 'Bored of the monotony,' beside a black snap.

Shilpa wrote the caption, “So bored of the monotony, everything looking the same… going off social media till I find a new avatar." 

This announcement has startled her adoring admirers!

On the occasion of Mother's Day, only a few days ago, Shilpa Shetty posted a video on social media that included her son Viaan and daughter Samisha. In the video, Shilpa's children can be seen sitting on her lap and applying makeup to her face.

The actress has recently joined the cast of Rohit Shetty's OTT world, Indian Police Force, as the first female policeman, and is now gearing up for her online debut. Sidharth Malhotra will also star in the online series.

Her most recent appearance on television was as a judge on India's Got Talent, where she shared the panel alongside Badshah, Kirron Kher, and Manoj Muntashmir.
