Pankhuri Awashty To EXIT 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'; Posts 'Last Day Shoot' PIC With Shivangi Joshi!

Popular actress Pankhuri Awasthy, who is currently seen playing 'Vedika' in Mohsin Khan-Shivangi Joshi's 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', set to bid adieu to the long-running Star Plus show.

Rajan Shahi's much-loved show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', featuring Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi in lead roles of 'Kartik' & 'Naira' respectively, is entertaining viewers since a long time and is set to complete eleven years this month. Fans of long-running Star Plus show, which completed 3000 episodes last year, are still waiting for Kartik & Naira's reunion ever since the leap took place post which Vedika (Pankhuri Awasthy) entered in their lives. But here comes good news for 'Kaira' fans!

Pankhuri Awashty's character of 'Vedika' is finally coming to an end now. As per the current track, Pankhuri has lied to Kartik & his family that she gave one of her kidneys to Naira. In return, Vedika asked Kartik to leave Naira and stay with her which he's doing. Whereas, Naira & dadi have teamed up to expose Vedika and the duo will succeed in doing so. After knowing the truth, Kartik will leave Vedika and that will mark her exit from the show.

On a related note, 'Yeh Rishta...' producer in November announced the biggest leap in the show in February 2020. In a long social media post, Rajan Shahi also hinted that 'the next generation of his most loved jodi' will be introduced in 'YRKKH' post leap next year. His announcement made 'Kaira' fans worried about Shivangi & Mohsin's future in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' post leap. However, only time will tell if Shivangi-Mohsin will remain a part of show post generation leap or not.
