Top-rated 'Star Plus' show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' went on-air in January 2009 with Hina Khan & Karan Mehra in lead roles. The show is still ruling the TRP charts even after mora than 9 years of airing. To make the show more interesting, the makers have introduced a time-leap of two years. After the leap, the show's protagonists Kartik (Mohsin Khan) & Naira (Shivangi Joshi) are no more together & the story has now moved on to Mumbai. The reports further says that Naira will be seen taking admission in a Mumbai college & Ankit's character will be her college friend. Hmm...Ankit's character seems pivotal to the plot & it'll be interesting to see he'll develop a soft corner for Naira or not.
