New Delhi: 'Yeh Hai Chahatein' is a Star Plus show that consistently succeeds thanks to the chemistry of its favourite jodi, Rudra and Preesha. After the leap, Abrar and Sargun portray Nayantara and Samrat.

Sargun Kaur Luthra, who plays the protagonist, gives insights about her characters Preesha and Nayantara. She says, "I have always enjoyed playing the role of Preesha." Preesha's appearance included a wide range of sarees, hairstyles, and makeup. Preesha and Nayantara have quite different personalities. My skin tone was darkened to better represent Nayantara, who is very uncomplicated and carefree with her appearance. Preesha's character is more appealing to me than Nayantara's, although it is a distinctive and interesting one to play. "There is a lot of work involved in inhabiting Nayantara's role, including developing a dark complexion and applying dark make-up to my legs for moments in which I wear short clothing."

From Preesha to Nayantara, Sargun's path in 'Yeh Hai Chahatein' has been filled with ups and downs and a great deal of effort. In regard to this, Sargun voiced her opinion by drawing a comparison between her transformation from Preesha to Nayantara and Preesha's three-year journey through many cast and character changes.
