TV couple Sheena Bajaj & Rohit Purohit set to get married on 22 January!

After going through many ups & downs, TV couple Rohit Purohit & Sheena Bajaj are finally set to take their relationship to the next level.

TV actress Sheena Bajaj, who is currently seen playing the role of Mahima Makwana aka Mariam's elder sister Meher in 'Star Plus' show 'Mariam Khan - Reporting Live', has been a part of many other popular shows as well. Whereas on the personal front, the actress is dating TV actor Rohit Purohit since five years. After going through several ups and downs, Rohit and Sheena are now all set to take their relationship to the next level by tying the knot. The couple is getting married next month on 22nd January following both Marwari and Punjabi traditions in Rohit's hometown Jaipur. Confirming the news, Sheena told a leading daily that, “The wedding is on the 22nd and the pre-wedding functions, including mehndi, haldi, sangeet and engagement, will be held on the previous day. All functions will be held in Jaipur.” Sheena with beau Rohit (Photo: Instagram) Whereas Rohit said that, “We plan to follow both the traditions — Marwari and Punjabi (Sheena is a Punjabi and Rohit is a Marwari).” Rohit & Sheena met each other on the sets of Star Plus show 'Arjun' post which the couple stayed in touch and started dating dating each other six months later. But, their relationship went through many hurdles and there were reports that Rohit & Sheena parted ways due to her proximity with 'Mariam Khan...' co-star Avinash Mishra. In 2016 as well, the couple took break from each other but came back together soon. Speaking about the same, Sheena further told TOI that, “It wasn’t a break-up. Like every normal couple, we too have our share of fights because we are poles apart. So, differences are bound to happen. We just took time off to give each other some space. I am fine with fights, but I won’t let that affect our relationship. On the professional front, Sheena started her career as a child-artist and was a part of many TVCs as well as films featuring Bollywood Superstars including Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jackie Shroff among others. On the TV front, she has been a apart of many popular shows like 'Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin', 'Besy of Luck Nikki', 'Kuch Toh Log Kahenge', 'Thapki Pyar Ki' among others. Whereas, Rohit did shows like 'Shapath', 'Chandragupta Maurya', 'Razia Sultan' among others and was last seen playing the role of Sikander (Alexander The Great) in Sony TV's 'Porus'.
