Actress Gehana Vasisth Put On Ventilator After Suffering Cardiac Arrest; Extremely Critical!

Gehana Vasisth, who was in limelight during 'Bigg Boss 11', has suffered a cardiac arrest and is fighting for her in ICU.

Mumbai: Television actress and model Gehana Vasisth, who made headlines during 'Bigg Boss 11' by speaking against Arshi Khan & other popular contestants, has suffered a cardiac arrest and has been admitted to hospital after being on a long working shift without taking proper nutrition, doctor said. The actress, who was also a part of ALTBalaji's popular web-series 'Gandii Baat', was admitted to hospital yesterday (21st November) and is in "extremely critical" condition as per hospital sources.

Gehana Vasisth is currently undergoing treatment in Raksha Hospital in Malad, Mumbai and has been put on ventilator. After a cardiac arrest, Gehana Vasist suffered from severe stroke and low blood pressure. Speaking about the same sources told IANS that, the actress was shooting in Madh Island for an upcoming web-series when she fell unconscious. "She is not responding to treatment and has difficulty breathing on her own. We have put her on ventilator to ensure she has proper oxygen supply to her brain. You can describe her condition as extremely critical for now," said Kabra on Friday.

"From the preliminary information we have got so far, Gehana Vasisth was shooting for nearly 48 hours without consuming proper nourishment. She has been admitted to the Intensive Care section and we are doing a series of tests on her. She is suffering from diabetes and her sugar is on the higher side, while her BP is very low. We were told she consumed some energy drinks and was also taking medication for diabetes and some other ailment. We are not sure if there was any reaction between what she consumed. We have to wait for the results of all the tests," added the doctor. On the career front, Gehana Vasisth was also seen in various web shows on the 'Ullu' app.
