Tunisha Sharma was found dead on December 24 on the set of her show. Her former boyfriend and co-star Sheezan Khan was arrested on abetment to suicide charges and later sent to judicial custody
New Delhi: Tunisha Sharma's suicide case is witnessing new twists and turns every day. Earlier, Tunisha's ex-boyfriend Sheezan Khan was taken into custody a day after her death. Sheezan's custody was further extended and now as per our reporters, Sheezan's bail plea has been rejected by the Vasai session court.
The court has accepted that on December 15, 2022, Tunisha and Sheezan broke up and on the very next day, Tunisha suffered a panic attack. It was also brought to everyone's attention that Sheezan Khan happened to be the last person who met Tunisha Sharma on the day she committed suicide.
The court also took into consideration the fact that Tunisha Sharma had been keeping low following her breakup and that she had appeared in the CCTV footage of Sheezan Khan's van on the day of her death.
Tunisha Sharma was found dead on December 24 on the set of her show. Her former boyfriend and co-star Sheezan Khan was arrested on abetment to suicide charges and later sent to judicial custody till January 13 after her mother Vanita Sharma filed a complaint against him. They had broken up a fortnight before her death. Since then both Tunisha and Sheezan’s families have leveled allegations against each other.
Sheezan Khan’s sisters Falaq Naaz and Shafaq Naaz and mother Kehkeshan Kaifi had held a press conference claiming his innocence. They had also said that Tunisha’s mother controlled her finances and she often had no money with her.
Following this, there was a lot of mudslinging between the two families, wherein Vanita Sharma also appeared in an interview alleging that she gave 3 lakh rupees to her daughter in the last three months and shared that her bank statements can be checked on account of Sheezan’s family’s accusations.
Meanwhile, the Vasai Court had adjourned Sheezan Khan’s bail plea earlier in the first week of January.
