The Kapil Sharma Show : Ali Asgar and Kiku Sharda refuse to shoot with Akshay Kumar

New Delhi: The star comedians of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ Ali Asgar and Kiku Sharda refused to shoot with Akshay Kumar when he reached the sets to promote his film ‘Rustom’. Ending the speculations of tussle, the reality is that both the comedians are afraid being beaten up by the actor. According to the reports of leading daily ‘The Times of India’ ,"Even though Ali and Kiku were on the sets, they refused to shoot for the episode as soon as they found out Akshay was on set. They refused to come on stage and were sitting in their room. However when Akshay came to know about it,he went off stage to find the two. Interestingly, they were dragged on stage by Akshay and a bodyguard.’’ "The bodyguard even hit them while Akshay dragged them on to the stage. The entire scene was captured on camera and was shown to Kapil later. When asked why they refused to shoot, Kiku and Ali revealed that every time Akshay is on set, they end being beaten by the actor. It is one of the most hilarious sequences of the show and viewers will surely be in splits when they see it," TOI added. A few days back Ileana D’cruz, Esha Gupta and Akshay visited this leading comedy show and ended up at this hilarious note. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar’s latest release “Rustom” seems to have had a better start at the box office as compared to the Hrithik Roshan starrer “Mohenjo Daro”. According to trade pundits, the Akshay Kumar starrer courtroom-drama is getting better reviews from the audience than the Ashutosh Gowariker-directed period-drama. “Rustom’ is leading.. It is performing better than ‘Mohenjo Daro’. It got decent reviews and people are liking this film more. ‘Mohenjo Daro’ did not seem to be appealing to the audience, while there was curiosity and hype around ‘Rustom’,” film distributor Rajesh Thadani told PTI. According to Thandani the opening day figures of “Rustom” can touch the Rs 12-13 crore mark and for “Mohenjo Daro” it will be around Rs 7-8 crore.   “Rustom” is based on K M Nanavati case, while “Mohenjo Daro”, helmed by Gowariker, is set in the Indus Valley civilisation.
