Another Replacement In Dilip Joshi's 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'!

Balwinder Singh Suri has reportedly replaced Gurucharan Singh as the new Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

New Delhi: Sony SAB’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ has won the hearts of the viewers with its comedy episodes. The popular sitcom is tickling the funny bone of the fans since the last 12 years. ‘Taarak Mehta’ is doing quite well in terms of TRPs despite the exit of Dayaben aka Disha Vakani from the show. Yesterday, we informed you that Neha Mehta ak Anjali bhabhi has decided to say goodbye to ‘TMKOC’. She has reportedly bagged another project and thus, he has decided to quit the show. As per the latest buzz, another actor in ‘Taarak Mehta’ has got replaced. We are talking about Gurucharan Singh. We had earlier told you that Gurucharan’s father underwent an emergency surgery. A report in an entertainment portal suggested that the makers wanted the actor to join the show but he has decided to take a break due to his father’s health. "Balwinder has already begun shooting on the sets from this week. The makers waited for Gurucharan Singh to come back and join the show but considering his father's health, the actor has decided to take a break from the show and be with him. Hence, they got Balwinder on board and started shooting with him for the future episodes," a source told SpotboyE. The report added that Balwinder Singh Suri has stepped into Gurucharan’s shoes and is now playing the role of Sodhi in the show. Suri is fondly known for playing the role of Shah Rukh Khan's friend in the film ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’. He has also worked in movies like ‘Saajan Chale Sasural’ and ‘Dhamaal’, to name a few.

Talking about Gurucharan Singh, the actor had earlier quit the show in 2013 due to some creative differences with the makers. He made a return to the show after one year. Ardent fans of ‘Taarak Mehta’ are quite excited to see their favourite characters back on the small screen after several months. The show started airing fresh episodes from July 22.
