Sushant Singh OUSTED From 'Savdhaan India' Amid Anti-CAA Protests?

Sushant Singh was hosting Star Bharat's 'Savdhaan India' since the past seven years.

New Delhi: Bollywood and TV actor Sushant Singh, who is currently seen as a host on the reality TV crime series 'Savdhaan India', has been ousted from the show.  The 'Lipstick Under My Burkha' actor was hosting the show since the past seven years.  It is being alleged that Sushant was asked to leave the show following his participation in recent anti-CAA protests in Mumbai. He will reportedly shoot for his last episode on December 20. Sushant on Tuesday (December 17) took to his Twitter to share the news with his fans. He tweeted. "And, my stint with Savdhaan India has ended." Check out his tweet! Several fans expressed displeasure over his ouster from 'Savdhaan India'. An user asked him on Twitter: "The price you pay for speaking the truth?" Sushant replied by tweetding, "A very small price my friend. Otherwise how will you face Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru?" Sushant was citing his role in Ajay Devgn starrer 'The Legend of Bhagat Singh', in which he played the character of Sukhdev. Sushant, while talking to ABP News' correspondent Ravi Jain said that he is against the Citizenship Amendment Act as he believes the law divides people on the basis of religion. He also expressed his displeasure over the clash between the police and students and termed the demonstration as the basic right of the students. 'Savdhaan India' airs on Star Bharat. The network is yet to respond to ABP News' query. Watch this space for more updates!
