Student of the Year 2: Samir Soni BAGS a role in Tiger Shroff starrer film!

Film & TV actor Samir Soni, who is also known for his stint as a contestant in 'Bigg Boss 4' is all set to be back on the big-screen. According to latest reports, Samir Soni has bagged a role in the sequel of 'Student of the year' starring Tiger Shroff in the lead role. In the first film, veteran-actor Rishi Kapoor played the role of college principal. Tiger Shroff's 'Student Of The Year 2' to release this November! Samir confirmed the news & told a leading daily that, “SOTY 2 is a fresh story, only the franchise is being carried forward. Rishi is the finest actor we have. He did a fabulous job in the first part and people remember him. I am nervous and excited to step into his shoes, although it’s not the same character. Speaking about the same, Samir further told DNA that, “No, he is not gay, but he has his own quirks. He is not the normal, boring principal. He will make you laugh and smile. Samir made his TV debut with a prominent role in 'Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin'. Later his participation in 'Bigg Boss 4' proved to be a turning-point in his career after which he played the lead role in Ekta Kapoor's hit 'Colors' show 'Parichay'. He was last seen playing lead role in ALTBalaji's web-series 'Bewafaa sii Wafaa'. Recently, he also made his directorial debut with Bollywood film 'My Birthday Song' starring Sanjay Suri & Nora Fatehi.
