Bank Holidays in April 2025: During the month of April, banks are scheduled to remain closed for a total of 16 days due to both national and regional holidays. 

With the new fiscal year beginning with April, first day of the month will see banks all across the country as they use the day to close their accounts for the year. The month also has long weekends for bank employees in it where customers will not be able to access bank services for three or four days depending on their regions. With Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti/Vishu/Biju/Buisu Festival/Maha Vishuva Sankranti/Tamil New Year's Day/Bohag Bihu/Cheiraoba falling on a Monday on April 14, customers in majority part of the country will have to schedule their bank appointments to avoid any inconvenience.

Typically, all Sundays and second and fourth Saturdays are observed as holidays by the banks across the country.
