Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a strong statement regarding the Waqf Bill, asserting that both Hindus and Muslims are safe in the state. Speaking in an ANI podcast, CM Yogi addressed concerns about the BJP’s stance on Waqf properties, stating that misconceptions have led people to believe that the party wants to take over mosques. He emphasized that the proposed amendments to the Waqf Act, recommended by the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC), are necessary for the country and beneficial for the Muslim community.
