Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka To Go Off Air; THIS Show To Take Its Time Slot On Star Plus?

'Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka' starring Vikram Singh Chauhan and Aditi Sharma is rumoured to go off air.

New Delhi: Star Plus’ ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ is doing quite well in terms of TRPs, despite getting launched last month. The supernatural show claimed the number six spot as per the BARC TRP ratings for week 45. The show stars Vikram Singh Chauhan and Aditi Sharma in the respective roles of Aman and Roshni. We had earlier informed you that the show will go off air next year. The news made the fans upset as the newly launched fantasy drama has better ratings than several shows on the channel. ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ is slated to be a finite series and hence will end in February 2020.
A report in an entertainment portal has suggested the channel has already decided the replacement for the show. Rajshri Productions, which produced ‘Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha, Ek Shyaam’ and ‘Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara’ for Star Plus, is coming up with a new show. The upcoming show has been titled ‘Dadi Amma Dadi Jaag Jao’ and it will star Sheen Dass and Anagha Bhosle in lead roles, the report added. The show will focus on the story of two sisters. Sheen played the lead role in Zee TV's 'Piya Albela', which was produced by the same production house.

“Jinn might go slightly ahead or beyond the stipulated 100 episodes depending on ratings and completion of new show,” a source told IWMBuzz. The cast and crew of ‘Dadi Ammi’ have wrapped up the first shooting schedule in Indore. “It is very good to be part of the limited series with a possibility of Season 2. It has a very good story and every middle class family will identify with,” an actor, who didn’t wish to named, told the portal. The show will also feature Seema Biswas, Khalid Siddiqui, Shilpa Tulaskar, Sachin Parikh and Mohan Joshi in key roles. Watch this space for more updates!
