Shaheer Sheikh To Reunite With His 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke' Producer Rajan Shahi For New Show
Shaheer Sheikh will be seen playing the lead role in Rajan Shah's new show.
New Delhi: Popular TV actor Shaheer Sheikh is all set to reunite with producer Rajan Shah for his upcoming show on Star Bharat. The duo earlier worked together in Star Plus' 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke', which was the spin-off of 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'.
Shaheer, while talking to Times Of India, confirmed that he will play the lead role in Rajan Shah’s new fiction show. Without giving details about his character, the ‘Navya’ actor said that he was convinced with the message which Shahi wants to impart through his new daily soap.

The ‘Mahabharat’ star told TOI that he gave his approval for the show after hearing its concept. He added that he was too keen to take up a project that required long-term commitment; however, he considered Shahi’s offer as he had a great experience working with the producer and his team.
If gossip mills are to be believed, Hiba Nawab might play the female lead opposite Sheikh. While Shahi is yet to make an official announcement, speculations are rife that his next show is the Hindi remake of Bengali show ‘Desher Maati’.
Shaheer played the role of Abir Rajvansh in ‘Yeh Rishtey’, which ran for over one-and-a-half year on the small screen. His sizzling chemistry with co-star Rhea Sharma grabbed several eyeballs. Ardent fans of the show had requested the makers to return with a new season after ‘YRHPK’ went off air in October 2020.

On the professional front, Shaheer was last seen in ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 3’. The show co-starring Erica Fernandes and Supriya Pilgaonkar failed to strike a chord with the viewers and went off air in November. Despite an impressive star cast and storyline, the romantic drama couldn’t gain required TRPs and hence, the makers pulled the plug on it.
Shaheer's new music video titled 'O Dilbar Yaara' has received a positive response from the fans upon release. It also stars Shivangi Joshi, who is currently seen in 'Balika Vadhu 2'.
