#SackDadlaniFromIndianIdol Trends After Vishal Dadlani Calls Ex-CJI Gogoi 'Disgraceful'

Vishal Dadlani's tweet on ex-CJI Gogoi didn't go down well with several users on social media.

Mumbai: Sony TV's 'Indian Idol 11' is one of the most followed reality shows on Indian television at the moment. The contestants of the show are winning hearts of the viewers with their power-packed performances. While the singing reality show is getting good TRPs, it has attracted its share of controversy. The makers have received flak for bringing back Anu Malik as a judge despite several #MeToo allegations against him. Malik later issued a statement but several singers including Sona Mohapatra, Neha Bhasin have slammed the composer and demand his ouster from the show. Vishal Dadlani is being slammed by a section of netizens over his controversial tweet on former Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi's retirement. "Goodbye, ex-CJI Gogoi, and I hope you can stomach the disgraceful and cowardly legacy you have left this august Office," Vishal had tweeted. This did not go down well with a section of Twitterati. They are criticising Dadlani  on the micro-blogging site, demanding his removal from the jury panel of "Indian Idol". One social media user wrote: "Dear Vishal, your hate for beloved PM Modi has blindfolded you and resultantly you have become anti Hindu, Hindu Hater so much so that you are unjustifying the Supreme Court judgement of Ram mandir decision. Shame on you. #SackDadlaniFromIndianIdol." Another user called Vishal a "cheap" for passing demeaning remarks on Gogoi. After such tweets, #SackDadlaniFromIndianIdol started trending on Twitter.
