Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2: THIS Actor To Play Double Role In New Season, DEETS Inside!

Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2 will go on air from October 19 on Star Plus.

New Delhi: Devoleena Bhattacharjee starrer 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' has been making waves ever since Yashraj Mukhate's hilarious rap video featuring a scene from the show went viral on social media. Star Plus announced the new season of 'Saathiya' in August 2020 by sharing a promo featuring Devoleena aka Gopi bahu. The video managed to create anticipation among the TV buffs as it mentioned the character of Gehna. Last month, the makers revealed that Sneha Jain and Harsh Nagar will play the respective roles of Gehna and Anant in the show. We had earlier informed you that Rupal Patel and Mohammad Nazim will also reprise their roles in 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2'. According to a report in an entertainment portal, Nazim will be seen in a double role in the upcoming show. Yes, you read that right! Nazim, who was last seen in 'Bahu Begum', will essay the roles of Ahem and Jaggi in 'Saathiya 2', a report in SpotboyE said. The actor has already played double role in the first season. The makers are planning to introduce the character of Jaggi once again in the new season.

'Saathiya' season one, which also starred Rucha Hasabnis and Vishal Singh, went off air in July 2017 after successfully completing seven long years. The saas bahu drama created history by becoming the most popular show at 7pm. The re-run of 'Saathiya' is fetching more ratings than many original show on Star Plus. It remains to be seen how the second season will fare in the TRP charts. 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2' will go on air on Star Plus from October 19 at 9pm. The show will replace Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma starrer 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke'.
