PESHWA BAJIRAO: Meet the ‘Mastani’ of the show

New Delhi: Sony Entertainment Television’s historical show ‘Peshwa Bajirao’ is just about to take leap in the show. With this, the lead role of Bajirao will be played by TV actor ‘Karan Suchak’ and grown-up Kashibai will be ‘Ishita Ganguly’. Now, as we all have seen the movie ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and know that ‘Mastani’ was an integral part of Bajirao. So the question is who will play the role of ‘Mastani’ in the Sony TV show. Well, TV actress Megha Chakraborty has been finalized to play the iconic role. Due to this leap, show has been quite in news. TV actress Anuja Sathe, who plays the role of ‘Radha Bai’ will get replaced by popular actress Rajeshwari Sachdeva after leap. Few days ago, in interview with Spotboye.com, Anuja revealed that why she chose to quit the show. She said, “For me right now it's not an appropriate time to play mother of 25 year-old-son. And I was assigned to do the show till it took the time leap.” Anuja’s husband Saurabh Gokhale will play the role of ‘Chimmaji Appa’ in the show after leap.
