'Pavitra Rishta' Actress Asha Negi To Make Her Bollywood Debut Opposite Abhishek Bachchan in Anurag Basu's Next!

Best known for her role of 'Poorvi' in Ankita Lokhande's 'Pavitra Rishta', actress Asha Negi will be seen romancing Abhishek Bachchan in Anurag Basu's yet-untitled multistarrer film.

TV actress Ankita Lokhande made her Bollywood debut earlier this year with Kangana Ranaut's 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of jhansi' and received positive response for her performance. Now, her 'Pavitra Rishta' co-star Asha Negi is all set to enter Bollywood very soon. Yes, you read that right! Asha Negi, who is best known for playing the role of 'Poorvi' in Zee TV's 'Pavitra Rishta' opposite Rithvik Dhanjani, has reportedly bagged her first film. Sanjeeda Shaikh Is All Set To Make Her Bollywood Debut Opposite This Actor! Revealing the same, the TOI report states that, "She has been signed on to play Abhishek Bachchan’s love interest in Anurag Basu’s next, which also stars Rajkummar Rao and Aditya Roy Kapur." Speaking further about the much-awaited film, it'll have four intersecting stories and it is not a sequel to the filmmaker's 2007 film 'Life In A...Metro' as speculated. The multi-starrer film will also have a bit of crime and dark humour in it. The film will hit the theatres next year.
