Not Barun Sobti, Vikram Singh Chauhan bags role in 'Kulfi Kumarr Bajewala'!

'Star Plus' show 'Kulfi Kumar Bajewala', which stars Mohit Malik, child actor Aakriti Sharma and Anjali Anand in leads, has been well-received by the viewers. Launched in March this year,  is making the right kind of noise on the TRP charts. 'Kulfi Kumarr Bajewala' is among the top 10 most-watched TV shows in terms of TRPs. The actors, especially the child-actress Aakriti (Kulfi) & Mohit (Sikandar Singh Gill) are getting huge appreciation for their acting. Few weeks ago, there were reports that Barun Sobti might enter the show soon in an important role. But here comes a bad news for the fans of much-loved 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon'! The makers have finalized the actor & its not Barun Sobti. Yes, you read that right! According to an entertainment portal, "Vikram Singh Chauhan is ready to don the avatar of a successful rockstar in Star Plus’ Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala." Speaking about Vikram's entry in the show instead of Barun, a source told SpotboyE that, “Barun was one of our first preferences for the role of Tevar but the dates did not work out.” Reportedly, Barun couldn't give dates to 'Star Plus' & that's why Vikram has been signed on for the show. 'Star Plus' show 'Jaana Na Dil Se Door' made him a household name & now he's set to be back on the channel with 'Kulfi Kumarr Bajewala'. Whereas Barun was last seen in the third season of 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon' which went off-air within few months. Barun & Vikram are yet to react on the same. Stay tuned for more updates!
