Muskaan LEAD Ssharad Malhotra Aka Raunak To QUIT Show Post Leap? Actor REACTS!
Ssharad Malhotra has reacted to the rumours of him quitting his popular TV show 'Muskaan'.
New Delhi: Star Bharat’s ‘Muskaan’ has managed to win the hearts of the viewers with its drama-packed episodes. The show starring Ssharad Malhotra and Yesha Rughani in the respective roles of Raunak and Musakaan has successfully completed over 400 episodes. The show was recently shifted to 10pm slot to make way for 'Jag Jaanani Maa Vaishno Devi – Kahani Mata Rani Ki'. Leaps often work in Indian TV shows and the makers are now all set to replicate the same formula in ‘Musakaan’.
Gossip mills were buzzing with the rumours that Ssharad Malhotra would quit ‘Muskaan’ post the five-year leap. It was said that the ‘Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki’ actor is not keen to play a father in the show.
Ssharad, while talking to a leading daily, squashed all the rumours and said that he will continue to play the lead role in the show.

“I am not quitting the show. I wonder where these rumours have come from. I was babysitting a child in my first show 'Banoo Main Teri Dulhan', and later in 'Maharana Pratap' too, I played a father. Even 'Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki', I essayed the role of a father. So, why would I quit a show now because of that? I have no qualms about playing a father on screen. In fact, I am looking forward to the new track in 'Musakaan',” Sharad Malhotra told Times Of India.
Ssharad tied the knot with Ripci Bhatia in a traditional Anand Karaj wedding on April 20, 2019. The couple celebrated their first Karwa Chauth after their marriage. (Source- Instagram) Watch this space for more updates!View this post on Instagram
