Masterchef Ranveer Brar Reveals The Reason Of Using A Knife Worth Rs 1.45 Lakh On The Kapil Sharma Show

Kapil Sharma shared humorous anecdotes about Masterchef India judges Vikas Khanna, Garima Arora, and Ranveer Brar.

New Delhi: Masterchef judges Vikas Khanna, Garima Arora, and Ranveer Brar all made an appearance on a recent episode of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. The chefs served tea and spoke about nearly everything, from their time in the kitchen to their personal lives in a chat with the show’s host Kapil Sharma.

Kapil shares humorous anecdotes about the chefs. While praising the work of famous chefs, Kapil Sharma announced that Vikas Khanna is among the world's top 10 chefs. Conversely, he praised Ranveer Brar for his innovative cuisine and professional achievements. To the utter shock of the audience, Kapil then revealed that Ranveer uses a special knife that costs Rs. 1.45 lakh.

Ranveer answered: “Logon ko watch, gadgets ka shaunkh hota hai.. muje knives ka hai, the knife is made out of a historical sword so while using it I feel connected to the history."

Kapil Sharma also revealed that a bride had cancelled her wedding because Vikas had been booked to perform. To which Vikas agreed, saying that he had suggested to the bride that "men should also cook," which ultimately led to the wedding being called off. The fellow chefs chuckled at the story and added, “issko shadiya tudwane ki aadat hai” (he has a tendency of breaking off other people's marriages).

Garima, meanwhile, dropped a bombshell on everyone when she said that in her whole life, she had only cooked for her husband. While discussing this topic, Garima disclosed that she and her husband had the lowest food budget in the group, adding, “I am so focused on cooking great food for people and by the time, I am supposed to eat, my hunger vanishes .. you will always find my fridge empty.”

On the professional front, Ranveer Brar, Vikas Khanna and Garima Arora can presently be seen serving as a judge on the seventh season of ‘MasterChef India’.
