The actress has got rid of her hair during the lockdown. Sharing a video on Instagram with fans she stated her reasons for going bald.

While a lot of TV celebs have been uploading videos of them household chores, home work out etc during the on-going lockdown period that has forced them to stay inside but Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi fame Jaya Bhattacharya did something unexpected which might leave you shocked! The actress has got rid of her hair during the lockdown. Sharing a video on Instagram with fans she stated her reasons for going bald. In several videos that Jaya uploaded, Jaya stated that she has been finding it difficult to manage her hair with the increasing heat. She told her followers she doesn't care much about her looks and likes to focus more on acting. She revealed it's only others around her, who had so far insisted she keep her hair to look good on-screen. She captioned her video as, "#surprise wanted to do this since ages but never had enough motivation. This helps me work more freely & better."

Jaya can be heard in the video that she frequently steps out of her house, along with her family, to feed the strays. She said when they return they soak their clothes in warm soapy water and take a bath from head to toe and managing hair everyday was becoming difficult for her Jaya also joked that she doesn't even have a band to tie her hair and feared that she might catch a cold due to washing them every night. In the end, she revealed that she has kept her chopped locks aside for cancer patients.
